Real life, real freedom, functional faith, foundational Gospel, and uncompromising truth without the religion! TruthForFree represents optimism for what true biblical Christianity can mean for those that have eyes to see and ears to hear – despite what stereotypical, institutional churchianity most often presents in contrast.
Hi friends! Dave here from TruthForFree. I hope you enjoy your visit. Indeed this is my heart; to share the truth in love that God has also encouraged me (and so many others) with so that we may all grow more like Jesus who is the only Head of His body, which is the Church. Not “a church”, but the one and only Church of the Lord Jesus Christ!
I am so thankful that God sent us His son to free us from sin and draw us into a right relationship with the Father; one that is unfettered by any legalistic action or process of man. It’s so great to know that all those whom the Son of God has set free are really FREE INDEED!!!
All the articles and e-books available as downloads from this site have been contributed by people who generally describe themselves as sincere believers in/disciples of/followers of Jesus who agree that the Scriptures are God-breathed entirely, though these same folks may not necessarily all be staunch proponents of any “religious organization” or denominational group. All articles and e-books are 100% free! You are welcome to use these materials to enhance your personal study of Scripture as well as to share and encourage others with.
TruthForFree.com encourages people to be wise and search out the truth and examine things fully. Never just take someone’s word for it because they stand behind some kind of pulpit (or website) and tell you it is so. God expects you to be a diligent seeker of truth and disciple of Christ alone.
Proverbs 14:15 – “The fool believes every word, but the wise man examines a thing”
The content in articles, e-books and blog posts available on this website are presented freely for those who have ears to hear. TruthForFree.com does not represent any organization or denomination and is not supported by (nor was it created to support) any institutional church or religious system (and we’re not one of those post-modern “churches for those who aren’t into church” either).
Our understanding of “Church”, as the Bible presents it, is that Church simply represents those who have been called into God’s family through (the Gospel of) Jesus Christ. That’s it! This is a spiritual reality that has nothing to do with whether or not people choose to attend religious services or affiliate themselves with various denominations.
The purpose of this website is to encourage people with the truth that a relationship with God is not only possible, but freely available to all who reach out to Him and believe that Jesus died as the sacrifice for sin, was buried and then rose again from the dead (granting all who believe new life in Him).
In Christ there are no obligations to join, install or attend institutional churches (not even “house churches”), clubs, programs, denominations, follow gurus, change your diet, wear special underwear, confess to a priest, go door to door, pay money to some organization, or submit to legalistic regiments or religious rituals. God’s arms are open to all who will embrace His Gospel and, as they enter into a real relationship with Him, He alone will speak to their heart and direct their path. We believe that one of the ways He does this is through the wisdom of Scripture (contained in the Bible).
This website seeks to encourage people with regard for Bible truths, which we also hold to be trustworthy, reliable and inspired by God Himself. As people walk this path of true relationship with God, we believe that – in time – He will divinely connect them with others who are walking that same path and thus encourage genuine friendship, fellowship and family-like spiritual unity among them. These are not things that we believe we should be anxious about, but trust completely to God to construct in His timing and according to His divine purpose.
Thanks again for visiting the site… Yup, that was the short version! Wait until you see the long version! LOL God bless you!
